I forgot to post but... some guy legitly had bullet holes in his car yesterday. (info after jump)

He had a bullet hole in the top left of the driver's side (U.S.) and bottom left of rear passenger. It was an old blacked out VW with ricer ttail lights and a crappy straight pipe exhaust. I was going to take pictures but this hispanic guy in a black hoodie with a really serious face just nods and glares at me so I continued on my way.

Have you ever seen real bullet holes on someone's car? I promise these weren't stickers. I saw them right in front of me.

Back when I was delivering pizzas, one of the drivers had an almost brand new Maxima that had 3 bullet holes in the trunk lid and one on the c-pillar. They had rust forming around them so they had been there a while but still... I never asked any questions

a friends civic got shot with a shotgun way back in the day. i wasn't there for the shot, but i remember how that car would whistle going down the road.

can you imagine how cool it would be to have a car that's been hit with a meteorite?

I saw General Murtala's car in the National Museum of Nigeria. Bullet holes throughout, and one right through the centre of the drivers side headrest. No SR20 because Nigeria does not allow pictures to be taken of it.

Well, no, not at all. Unless the Carson Grand Sicilian counts...

One day I flick on my turn signal and instead of going click... click... click it goes clickclickclickclickclick super fast. That generally means one of the bulbs is out, and I checked and sure enough, the passenger side rear turn signal is not working. So I replaced the bulb but that didn't help. I get the old bulb out and look at it and I see the filament is still in place. So I pull off the panel and look a little closer and I discovered that the wire to the turn signal has been severed, and down by the lock there's the bullet that did it. I checked out the passenger side of the car and there was another bullet hole in the middle of the door.

This is how my '93 Miata got its name. Famous rapper Curtis Jackson, better known as "Fifty Cent," was once shot nine times. By proportion my car with its two bullet holes got the name "Eleven Cent."

I have no idea when or how or why my car got shot at, but hey, I live in Florida, the gun-nut state par excellence , so I guess it was inevitable.

I think my friend's Hudson had some. It had spent most of the cold war time abandoned in the desert so it wasn't totally surprising.

A bullet hole would actually be pretty neat way to route cables through the firewall. Faster than drilling anyway. This is probably the stupidest thing that I have thought up today...

I'd think most people wouldn't ask someone with bullet holes in their car what happened.

Seen it a number of times in old cars. The best was in the tail section of an early Shelby, a couple through the tail panel and decklid - Shot from the rear forward as if it was being chased, definitely came from behind. During the restoration we repaired them externally of course, but left the one exit hole in the bottom of the trunk lid structure. Made a good story if one points it out... I'll have to see if I can find a photo.

THE BUMPER STICKER. IT DID IT. WHY WOULD YOU SELF KINJA YOUR CAR?

Also I would be relatively scared after an incident like that.

Dangit now I have to go there. I'm off to buy plane tickets... oh wait. Obligations and money (actually the lack thereof). I think I'll add that to my bucket list just to see that car.

If you can visit Lagos, do. It's not as scary as it once was.

My friend bought a e36 that was in a shootout and had bullet holes in the trunk +1 street cred.

There was a guy where I used to live (Cave Creek, Az) who was selling his late 80's Toyota pickup with "Custom bullet holes". He had literally gotten an automatic rifle and riddled it with holes. It looked retarded.

This is probably the best story here. Guy just wanted an excuse to shoot his truck.
